Tcherassi Hotel + Spa, Cartagena, Columbia. Each of the seven generous rooms in the 250-year- old colonial mansion is named after a luxe fabric; all have private balconies and rainshowers. The tri-level penthouse suite even has its own pool. The in-house Vera Italian restaurant features a vertical garden. Close to Plaza Fernandez de Madrid and the 17th-century San Felipe de Barajas castle. I'm feeling Romancing the Stone meets Kelly Wearstler.

TRULY, MADLY, DEEPLY} Favorite Things London

 

1. Covent Garden. I used to work her at The French Connection in 1997. Still one of my favorite people watching sutes.

2. The Mac Store in Covent Garden. in 1997, this was an Italian Restaurant. Now it's inspiring and beautiful. Makes me feel like creating something.

3. London Cycle Hire. These Cycle Hires are all over the city, and happy bit comes in seeing people actually riding them all over the city. At on 1 pound per hour trip the make economic sense too. Hopefully this idea with spread across the pond.

London Calling

 

I'm starting to get the girls and I packed for our trip to London for Marsh's brother's wedding and Anne Hathaway's spread in Harper's Bazaar is inspiring me. I'll be packing lots of ladylike black and whites and my trench. I'll probably pass on the ruffled ball gown, Stella would get lost in that. 

TRAVEL BUCKET LIST: Next time I'm in Florence....

The Riva Lofts in Florence.  A charming hotel designed by Architect Claudio Nardi. Made up of 8 studios, looks like the perfect place for a destination 40th birthday party, at least I have time to save up.
