I just received my Itinerary from Glamour Magazine for The Glamour Reel Moments Premiere Day. And I am staying at a hotel whose mantra is: Rooms so beautiful, even the most demented rock stars don’t have the heart to trash them. Fancy.
I get to screen the film in the morning before the evening premiere, whew. I need to get all my tears out before the reel deal premiere. This could be hard for me to relive.
The day starts with a chat with PR from Glamour, probably just checking my interview skills, which are non existent, but I'll pick some pointers up for that this week from my acting friends. Then the day screening, then choosing a dress from Nordstroms at the Grove, with only two hours scheduled I must fit some pre-scoping out time in this week. Then off to Chris McMillan Salon to get our hair and make-up transformation.
When I first moved to LA, ten years ago, I treated myself to a haircut with Chris the creator of Jennifer Aniston's "Rachel Cut". His haircut, and blowout (by John Francis) was life changing. Really. That hair magic you always dreamed about that would change everything for you and give you the hair you've always wanted...he makes magic happen. I was walking on Pantene ad golden, shimmering, soft, hair for days. Men were buying me drinks, women were asking me my hair secrets. Alas, his price for a haircut as since then rocketed to $650 so I haven't seen him since then. But next Monday, thank you Glamour!, my hair will be back in the masters hands.
